Privacy Policy

TankDoc ("the App") is developed by Dode Yazılım. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is processed when you use the App.

Data we collect

Account info: If you sign in with email, your email address is stored for authentication (Supabase). Guest usage stores no account data.
Aquarium data: Tank profiles, water parameter measurements, and diagnosis history. Stored only on your device in guest mode; stored on our servers linked to your account when signed in.
Photos: Photos you take/select for AI diagnosis are uploaded to our servers and sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for analysis. Photos are stored in your private space and permanently deleted when you delete your account.
Purchase info: Your subscription status is processed via RevenueCat. Payment details never reach us; they are handled by Apple/Google.
Usage & crash data: Crash reports (Sentry) and anonymized product analytics (PostHog) may be collected to improve stability.

How we use data

Your data is used solely to: provide the AI diagnosis service, show your water parameter history and charts, manage your subscription, and improve the App. We do not sell or share your data for advertising, and we do not track you.

AI processing

Diagnosis photos and related water parameters are sent to the OpenAI API for analysis. This data is not used for model training (API data is excluded from training). AI outputs are not veterinary advice.

Retention & deletion

Data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all data (including photos) in-app via Profile → "Delete account and data", and export a copy via Profile → "Export my data" (GDPR right of access).

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS); server-side row-level security ensures you can only access your own data.

Service providers

Supabase (database, auth, storage) · OpenAI (AI image analysis) · RevenueCat (subscriptions) · Sentry (crash reporting) · PostHog (analytics) · Apple App Store / Google Play (payments).

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
